The great news is that my copy of fvj3 arrived today. The not-so-great news is that the JAL system thinks it has downloaded the addon for fvj3, but it has not. By that I mean I am told the download is "Done" and the table in the Package Manager control says version 1.0.1 is installed, but when I try to load the files, they are not there and when I look at my addons subdirectories, there is no entry where fvj3 should be although graphvix is still there. Recall I had problem with the curl version on my Mac and am wondering if this is associated?
