Roger, There seems to be some weirdness with the APL character set on my laptop when using the Firefox browser. There appears to be two versions of the Iota symbol, one in grey and one black. The appearance and kerning on the two symbols are markedly different. I made a screen shot of some of the identity code in the paper from my laptop screen, so you can see what is going on. My Firefox browser is set to UTF8 and the monospaced font is DejaVu Sans Mono. When I copy and paste this text to MS Word, it all looks good: http://elliscave.com/jdoc/MSWordKern.png IE didn't show the symbols at all until I changed the monospaced font to DejaVu Sans Mono.Then it all looks fine.
