I am going to bid on setting up a wireless hotspot for a hotel. It has 300+ rooms, so theoretically it could have 300+ wireless users signed on at once. I've been looking at various hardware manufactures. One router I've found is the D-Link Airspot - DSA-5100 - Public/Private Hot Spot Gateway. It's about $2700 USD. It would do the job with the correct number of WAPs. I've been looking around for hardware that is comparable and/or cheaper that will do the job. Any one here have any experience doing stuff like this? If so, am I pointed in the right direction? Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.
