This will depend on the architecture of the bank and what systems it
needs to or doesn't need to support and if the benefit outweighs the
cost to upgrade. This is sometimes easier for larger banks with
modular branch systems across the world than it is for smaller, more
regionalised banks though the final aim would be a standardized,
modern platform. Also, the other thing to realise is that banks, like
hospitals is a very conservative industry player and will generally
tend to upgrade much later in the software maturity curve. A necessary
balance is required to maintain concurrence of software between the
operational backend and the customer facing frontend. Are you looking
