I'm currently helping to set up an online social network startup, with the development office based in Bangsar, KL. Current development team size varies from 3-7, depending on freelances, interns etc. 1. We're looking for someone to role-play as *Web Architect*, to do R&D, keep track of approved coding styles/patterns, and do high-level QA on the development team's processes and output. 2. We're also looking for someone to role-play as *Lead Developer*, to support R&D efforts, to coordinate implementation of approved coding styles/patterns, and to do low-level QA on the development team's processes and output. If you or anyone you know would like to play either (or both!) roles, do get in touch with me. *More details:* - Almost everything we do is in CakePHP and jQuery; but as soon as possible, we'd be branching off into other media, perhaps WAP and iPhone too. - The product is rather complex, like a shinier Facebook, and it's already in prototype. - The next thing to do is to get is to tighten it up a lot, so that it'll survive the handful of closed-beta test organisations that we already have, and beyond that scaling up for commercialisation. - There's also some need to implement SVN and design the unit testing approach (probably it'll involve a lot of JavaScript, since the site is very AJAX intense), also.
