re: pax-construct - One of many "adjustments" I made on my end was to
replace the maven .classpath code with the much more straightforward and
workable m2eclipse classpath container stuff.

Is there a large contingent of people who use maven and eclipse and do not
use m2eclipse? If not, this would be something I would suggest.
