Platform:          intel x86
OS:                linux 2.2.14
Database:          mysql 3.23.40
Statistics:        no problem


my chatset sets to big5, and the last chatacter of title of searching result will be 
cut...
then I modify line 4863 of /src/sql.c set
ures=lcs->to_uni(uni,Res->Doc[i].title,len+1);
ures=bcs->from_uni(Res->Doc[i].title,uni,len+1);
to solve the problem
