Last week, our live wiki installation was updated to a new version. This had pros and cons, allowing us to fix some things and breaking some others. An update on the status:

Major things not working right:
* SECTION includes don't work right (CommunityHome and WorkingGroups and CurrentCombinedStatus) (KEI#2100) * http://wiki.osafoundation.org/bin/view/TWiki/WebStatistics reports incorrectly (KEI#2062)

Recently fixed or updated
* Search page works again (broken before upgrade)
* Upload page and upload button was broken for about 2 days
* IRC transcript link was broken for a day
* Rename/delete function didn't present list of backlinks for renaming for about a week
* Bugzilla link format(s) broke and our local mods needing backporting

Recent enhancements
* Update to TWiki 4.0.1 upstream codebase
* Grouped the edit page buttons slightly differently
* Registration of new users requires email confirmation (major drop in wiki spam)
* Time/datestamps now rendered in Pacific time, not GMT
* Wiki HTML charset set to UTF-8 for internationalization

Remaining issues broken by update
* On rename page, the select/clear all buttons don't work. The JS seems to be in place to do it. * Projects/WebChanges doesn't seem to show all changes prior to 4.0.1 update (KEI#2039)
* Projects/PageListByPerson is broken
* "Unknown page/question mark" should be highlighted (per Mimi)
* May have put RSS links on pages that shouldn't have it, including edit page

Remaining issues long since an issue
* The rockin' new (CSS-based) default skin (pattern skin) doesn't work properly due to our local mods for our OSAF-specific skin (normally you can switch between skins easily)
* Main/TWikiPreferences WIKILOGOIMG, WIKIWEBLIST update for our new skin

Core planned enhancements
* MDE quickie facelift (KEI#1845)
* mod_perl for performance increase
* Tag plugins
* Shortened wiki URLs
* Make new "osaf" skin derived from pattern/css skin

There's lots of blue-sky wiki enhancements, including some low hanging fruit, but that's for another day.

If there's something broken on the wiki that you think is obvious but isn't on the above "still broken list", I'd sure appreciate a report and we'll work to get it fixed. Thanks.
