Hi Pieter,

Forwarding remaining open issues to the list.

2. How to Install Chandler
Do we need to explain how to install on Mac and Windows? I wonder if having a lot of text will make it seem more confusing than it actually is.

I think Linux is the only thing that needs real explanation?

 4. Upgrading to a new version of Chandler

Should migrating data be it's own top-level section? People who have already downloaded and installed Chandler may not think to look in section #1 for Migrating.

Added (Preview Version) to Chapter and section titles to make it important and relevant to previous users

Can we just link to the migration instructions on the FAQ? That way, if we change the instructions, we only need to update 1 place.

+1 on only one location, but maybe the FAQ should point to the Get Started Guide section instead?

Sure, I don't imagine this will change very much.

Making this a P3 priority - we can come back and decide this right after the whole doc is at least in draft.

The amount of explanation around migration feels a bit intimidating. I'm wondering if we can pare it down and still provide users with enough context so they understand what's going on.

Making this a P2, will revisit next week.

EX:
If you are upgrading to a newer version of Chandler Desktop, you will need to export your data from your old version of Chandler and reload it into to the new version. When you launch the new version of Chandler, you will prompted with the dialog on the right. Select the 2nd option and following the [migration instructions] to move your data.

If you do not want to move your data over, then select the 1st option to start fresh.
