I've got Genesis to synch the clock to a reliable source by the
following method:

Go into Genesis prefs.

Pick Interfaces, choose yours (if there are several ISPs set up)

Double click or press to Edit the interface

Select the Service tab

Tick Synch clock, tick Save Time and enter a Time Server
(I use ntp2a.mcc.ac.uk but there are others)

Okay and save prefs.

Next time you connect, Genesis will pickup the time from that net clock
and save it to your Amiga internal clock. You should see "querying time
server" just before the dial-up section closes.

Oliver Roberts has just released the 0.3beta at
http://www.egroups.com/docvault/56solo/Files but I think you might
need to register first.

I hope he doesn't mind but here's the latest version. Please respect
his distribution/ copyright notes and -if you like it- let him know!

Good luck

John

p.s. After you've proven it works, you might want to add QUIET to the
arguments for SoloControl in your GenesisPrefs

-- Binary/unsupported file stripped by Listar --
-- Type: application/octet-stream
-- File: SoloControl_0.3.lha
