PPPoE is PPP over Ethernet. Many ISP's use this "protocol" for their DSL
services. I do not have OS3.9 (yet - expecting it any day now :) ), so I
have no idea what that version of Genesis contaions, featurewise. However
MiamiDX has built-in support for PPPoE.

Short answer; no - it won't.
Long answer; yes it will - if you get the Open Source PPPoE software for
*NIX (don't remember the URL, atm - I'll see if I can dig it up) and port
it to AmigaOS..
Now my question; AmiTCP is "built on" the world-famous BSD TCP/IP-stack,
right? (Yes, I'm a FreeBSD-user. :) )
If so; wouldn't porting the *BSD-version of the aforementioned
PPPoE-software be pretty straight-forward?
(I'm not a programmer (except from a few simple Perl/PHP-scripts), so I
would appreciate answers from one of the _many_ (I'm sure! :) ) programmers
out there...)
