Hello,

Starting with the RefSeq Genes track's primary table (refGene) in the Table 
browser, click on "view table schema", the associated tables can be seen (along 
with connecting keys).

For gene symbol - link to the table refFlat

For the NM -> NP protein sequence relationship - link to the table refLink

The other table's route the query through the UCSC Genes track, which is good 
for many queries, but perhaps not this one. If a sequence is non-coding (click 
through the sequenceID in the browser to NCBI to see the datasheet), then there 
will be no protein.
