The genomic size of this gene has earlier been reported to be 21514 bp in the UCSC genome browser. However, the UCSC genome browser now shows the genomic size to be 21973 bp. Comparison of the earlier UCSC version with the present version shows that now you have added 88 nucleotides in the upstream of exon 1 and 371 nucleotides in the downstream of 3'UTR. Please see the attached file that shows about the added nucleotides. Could you please let me know about the reason (e.g. any recent experimental report?) for addition of these extra nucleotides in the Exon 1 and 3'-UTR of this gene?
