Hello Sigal, The data ranges are broken up into 10 grey scale values by multiplying the decodeAve by 200 and converting to an integer.
<= 320 :lighest grey 321 - 599 :middle values of grey (8 of them) >= 600 :darkest grey (black) The exact RGC code and exact data ranges are not known. We apologize for this. It has been some times since the track was created and the information has been lost. The good news is that the track is being updated and this type of information will be captured going forward. Hopefully this will help you to approximate a similar color scheme in R. Thank you for your patience, Jennifer --------------------------------- Jennifer Jackson UCSC Genome Informatics Group http://genome.ucsc.edu/ On 4/23/10 5:58 PM, Sigal Blay wrote: > For the Recomb Rate track, > I would like to know how the recombination rate value is converted to color > (so I can draw the right color in R). > > Thanks! > Sigal > _______________________________________________ > Genome maillist - [email protected] > https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
