Hi Gianna,

When you do the Table Browser query for a region, you will get all the
exons of all the variants for any gene that falls in those coordinates.
To get only the exons for the main variant of a gene, click on the
"paste list" button next to "identifiers (names/accessions)". In there
paste the name of your main variant, which in this case is most likely
uc001qcd.2. Continue from here as you did in your screen shots.

Something else I noticed in your screen shots is that you didn't have
the "5' UTR Exons" and "3' UTR Exons" check boxes selected. The ITM1
gene has one exon in the 5' UTR region, thus I recommend selecting this
check box to see all 18 exons you mention.

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to contact the mail
list again if you require further assistance.

Best,
Mary
