Hi Li,

We recommend setting up your own mirror of the Genome Browser, into which you
can load your microbial genomes. These pages should help get you started:

http://genomewiki.ucsc.edu/index.php/Browser_Installation
http://genome.ucsc.edu/admin/mirror.html

as well as the many README files in the UCSC Genome Browser source tree
download available here here:

http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/downloads.html#source_downloads

The README files are located in src/product/ in the tree.

If you have any problems, feel free to search the mirror mailing list archives
using our Contacts page here: http://genome.ucsc.edu/contacts.html (at the
bottom of the page). You may also wish to contact the UCSC Microbial Genome
Browser to see if they have any tips or pipelines that you can use:
[email protected].

I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to contact the mirror
mail list if you require assistance with your mirror site:
[email protected].

Best,
Mary
