Hi Diana,

For a new or updated genome assembly to be considered for inclusion on
the UCSC Gene Browser, it first needs to be submitted to NCBI. For
instructions see:

http://genomewiki.ucsc.edu/index.php/How_to_submit_a_new_genome

Once it is available in the NCBI FTP download directories
(ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/genomes/Eukaryotes/) our management
team will consider it for inclusion on the UCSC genome browser.

Because the new chicken genome is not part of our browser, we are unable
to help you with determining the sequence status of the 5' end of your
gene.

Please contact the mail list ([email protected]) again if you have any
further questions.
