Hello, Rebecca. We do have several genomes on our test site that are not included on our public site. Most of these will unfortunately never make it to the public site as our grant specifies that we focus our efforts on vertebrate genomes.
You may also check the Ensembl site at www.ensembl.org. Please contact us again at [email protected] if you have any further questions. --- Steve Heitner UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Helm, Rebecca Sent: Monday, December 12, 2011 8:32 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Genome] Nematostella genome on UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Site? Hello-- I am aware that a version of the *Nematostella vectensis* genome is available on the UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Site (here<http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?clade=other&org=Starl et+sea+anemone&db=nemVec1>), though not publicly. Is there a reason this genome is not publicly available? Will a publicly available version of the *Nematostella vectensis *genome* *be available in the near future? Thank you for your time! -- Rebecca Helm Ph.D. Candidate Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Brown University 80 Waterman St., Box G-W Providence, RI 02912 USA _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
