Dear All, I'm unable to browse the UCSC genome browser tables via my firefox browser due to denied write permissions, and I'm hoping you can identify which folder on my PC is the culprit.
Steps to reproduce the error in my firefox browser are: 1. http://genome.ucsc.edu/ 2. Click on the "Tables" menu item. 3. Observer the following error message: "Can't open ../trash/ct/ct_genome_cdb_a3c920.bed to write: Permission denied" Can you tell which folder is the parent folder ".." in the above message?
