Dear UCSC team,

Regarding the rn5 assembly that is up on the UCSC Genome Browser (I don't
know since when but I think it's a rather recent addition).

I noticed that the tracks for rn5 are much more sparsely populated than for
the rn4 assembly, especially there doesn’t seem to be a conservation track.

I am working on a rat genomics/transcriptomics project and am considering
whether to switch to rn5 or not… could you please say a few words about the
new rn5 assembly on UCSC, and is there a roadmap which tracks will be added
and when? (Especially species conservation, but also the others found
available for rn4).

Also, I was wondering if there is a way to stay informed on updates, maybe
even before they happen? I know there's the genome-announce mailing list
but I can't find information about rn5 there.

best regards,
Anton
