Hi ! Looks like three packages are providing a slightly different flavour of qmail:
qmail
qmail-ldap
qmail-mysql
Some other packages depend on qmail:
qmailadmin
qmail-autoresponder
qmail-lint
qmail-notify
qmail-qfilter
qmail-qsanity
qmail-vmailmgr
Those depend on net-mta/qmail so they cannot be installed on top of
qmail-ldap or qmail-mysql.
This thing comes up because of #78681 where a user wants to install
qmail-notify on top of qmail-mysql or qmail-ldap. The workaround he
sends is to tweak the RDEPEND:
- mail-mta/qmail"
+ || (
mail-mta/qmail
mail-mta/qmail-mysql
mail-mta/qmail-ldap
)"
But maybe creating virtual/qmail and making them depend on virtual/qmail
is cleaner.
Any ideas?
