That's another good point. And since Ruby has been brought up before, let's not forget that we're not really slotting just for the sake of it most of the time. JRuby is not slotted at all and there are no plans to slot it. Ruby Enterprise was supposed to be slotted but it's going to be removed instead. Rubinius is its own implementation and is also not slotted. The two that are not slotted, don't have version suffix either, and we don't plan to add them just because.
