Like for instance, we really do need virtuals ( or equivalent ) for many things in there, because those things may stop being part of dev-lang/perl at a future time. One such example is Module-Build, which means any packages that require Module-Build and don't declare virtual/Module-Build in their dependency will be broken somewhere after perl 5.20 -- Kent
