Fwiw I still have servers running Gentoo on the 3.4 series, and doubt
I'm the only one. I tend to stick to the LTS from when it is set up as
I don't need new functionality on it and want to retain a level of
stability, in particular on servers that are not in my physical
presence (at least without a great deal of travelling). Thankfully
have all servers upgraded to get rid of 2.6 series though :)
