Sure it is, it is the only way to pass configure params I know. I have used --genv EXTRA_ECONF='"--disable-secureplt --with-cpu=e300c2 --without-long-double-128 --with-dwarf2 --without-fp --with-fp=soft"' to pass configure options to gcc only Jocke
