Current portage is used for plan execution, the plan creation part is written 
from scratch.

The only thing current portage will have to be aware of is the syntax of the 
input it gets from the planner.
Think about a plan as a makefile. 

Right now it outputs in XML format, and I have a few style sheets that convert 
the XML to DOT (to generate nice graphs), a Makefile ...
