Yup, the xmms-avi build breaks XMMS badly. I and others have seen it. I checked the bug database last week but didn't see anything that really applied to these issues. There are avi-xmms bugs but not for this. I wonder what the status is as all I've seen is people reporting it but no resolution.

causing this wsa avi-xmms and I unmerged the plugin and xmms opened
like.... well just like it used to.
So maybe avi-xmms has some issues.
If there are any concerned people out there who want more info, I ll be
happy to provide that.
