Hi gentoo-user Today I stat the day with my mailing lists in a good mood, cause yester I fixed xmms (some days back I had posted some mails regarding that and got some useful help). Finally I had opened xmms in ddd and found out that one of the threads in xmms was recieving segfault. It looked like the plugin whose code was causing this wsa avi-xmms and I unmerged the plugin and xmms opened like.... well just like it used to. So maybe avi-xmms has some issues. If there are any concerned people out there who want more info, I ll be happy to provide that. Thanx a lot Spundun
