I upgraded to 4.2.99.4 overnight, and everything looks the same as it did 
yesterday, apart from I have semi-transparrent cursors now (nice).  Didn't 
need to recompile anything but xfree itself.  Sounds like this is happening 
to a few people, but not everyone.
