Hi Peter, Thanks for your kind reference to the HOWTO but it seems that the problem is not with netfilter but I just would like to ask if there is a better way to add those two lines to the gentoo initialization scripts. I know I can create a file called net.sharing in /etc/init.d and do something like: rc-update add net.sharing default But I'd like to know if there is a better way to do it. Anyway, I could not check the howto since I do not have access yet to a browser in gentoo linux.
