I have blackdown jre and mozilla installed from emerge. The java plugin does not seem to register for mozilla, but it registers for phoenix. I have noticed that other people have a similar problem, only reversed. Also, the phoenix plugins directory seems to be linked to the mozilla plugins dir (/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins)
