Hi All,

Well after recompiling my kernel to support usbserial and ipaq I can't put together
the final pieces required to get my HP Jornada 545 (PocketPC) working with Gentoo.

The modules and synce software load OK, however, I'm not sure if the device has
actually been recognised.

keppy@korner:~# cat /proc/bus/usb/devices
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=a0 MxPwr= 98mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 1 Cls=03(HID ) Sub=01 Prot=02 Driver=hid
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 4 Ivl=10ms
T: Bus=01 Lev=02 Prnt=03 Port=01 Cnt=02 Dev#= 6 Spd=12 MxCh= 0
D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff MxPS=16 #Cfgs= 1
P: Vendor=03f0 ProdID=1016 Rev= 0.00
C:* #Ifs= 1 Cfg#= 1 Atr=40 MxPwr= 2mA
I: If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=ff(vend.) Sub=ff Prot=ff Driver=serial
E: Ad=82(I) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=02(O) Atr=02(Bulk) MxPS= 64 Ivl=0ms
E: Ad=81(I) Atr=03(Int.) MxPS= 2 Ivl=1ms

The last bit tells me that USB-Serial emulation is working (perhaps?) but I can't talk
to the device.

Anyone accomplished this?

Thanks,
