[gentoo-user] celeron 1.2 GHz's compile options

Hi all,
  I'm a newbie.I just installed my gentoo,but X that I compiled runs very slowly.May 
anyone tell me some better compile options to optimize my system?

 the options I use: O3 mcpu=i686 .
 My cpu is Intel celeron 1.2G
