Yes, me second that way - AverTV has cheap and nice cards. Yet another problem you can find with it - you have to enable sound (at least soundcore) in kernel to make it work (make menuconfig does not show it as a dependency and as a result you will get unresolved sybmols in bttv module). I came across this problem when I was setting up webcam on the server that obviously has no sound.
