It's one of my dream for Gentoo :-) (Gentoo is now well-known but, for installing it, you need nevertheless a good experience of Linux. I don't think a newbie would do it (it 's my feel )). I'll try to develop this idea asap.
In fact, i would like to have a system like on the suse, where you could choose the installation 's method (text or graphical) and ,steps by step, you 'll see what you do , what packages you want to install ,....
