- - How stable is the OpenOffice RC 1? Do you suggest me to try it, or to go on with the 1.03 version?Well I used 1.03 during about 3 weeks at work and I had to delete some users ~/.openoffice 3-4 times during this time, which pissed me off. RC 1 has benn installed 3 weeks ago and is working without a glitch since. So far, so good :) I advise you to use RC 1.
The only strange thing about RC1 is that the binary is called soffice :)
