APC BackUPS XS 1000; has a USB hook-up, works with apcupsd and runs about $125 for 1000VA. I picked mine up at Office Depot, and they're also available at CompUSA. It's what I use, and it works well for me. Note: this is not an official endorsement :) Best Regards, Daniel
