[gentoo-user] mod_perl and Apache 2.x

Does mod_perl not yet work with Apache 2.x? On my ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" 
system, when I do 'emerge -p mod_perl', I get:

skyline root # emerge -p mod_perl

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

On the same system I get:

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

[ebuild  N    ] dev-perl/mod_perl-1.99.09
So, does mod_perl work well enough and just hasn't actually been 
released, or is it still not quite there. This is a production server, 
so I don't want to mess anything up.
