Hi folks,

I have 2 boxes connected with a crossover cable for broadband sharing. Both of them can ping to each other. Broadband sharing has no problem.

PC1 - RH9
eth0 - connected to broadband
eth1 - connected to PC-2,  IP 192.168.0.1

PC2 - Gentoo box
eth0 - connected ot PC-1, IP 192.168.0.2

Test as follows;
PC1 - RH9
========
# ssh -l root 192.168.0.2
ssh: connect to host 192.168.0.2 port 22: Connection refused

How to get it connected? Thanks

PC2 -Gentoo ========== # ssh -l root 192.168.0.1 The authenticity of host '192.168.0.1 (192.168.0.1)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 06:f7:af:dd:26:80:90:28:3f:0f:da:f4:d6:ed:c2:c5. Please type 'yes' or 'no': yes Warning: Permanently added '192.168.0.1' (RSA) to the list of known hosts. [EMAIL PROTECTED]'s password: Last login: Thu Nov 6 23:00:01 2003 from localhost.localdomain

[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# konqueror
konqueror: cannot connect to X server
[EMAIL PROTECTED] root]# kedit
kedit: cannot connect to X server

Kindly advise
1) To change password - which file/files I have to edit, on RH9 box and Gentoo box respectively
2) How to get X server of RH9 box displayed on Gentoo box

Thanks in advance.
