first do 'emerge sync' to update your local portage tree. then you should be able to 'emerge cdrtools' and it will automatically install the latest cdrtools package. using the online package db you'll see what the current official portage tree has to offer, but you can't use it directly. as said before sync your local portage tree in order to have new ebuilds available. and please avoid starting a new thread in an old thread by replying to some message.
