no, I was using bootstrap 1 from the iso I downloaded from gentoo site. But I installed locales, and since i'm compiling gentoo in chrooted environment on my debian machine, some of the env. variables remained - LC_ALL also. > Usually I met similar errors just after bootstrap only if something > goes wrong with HW. Well, I'll try it - but all other compiles are ok, I tried to compile all other sources from "system", it was all right, and now I compiled xfree86, mplayer, xmms, kernel sources.... just this one small package remained...
