So I've finished compiling gnome, and it tells me I have an error. Type emerge --verbose for details.
That produces an error message, because it's lacking a command to be verbose about. "emerge --verbose gnome" doesn't tell me of any errors. Okay... Given that I have no idea on what the error was, or even which package it came from (think fresh install, doing "emerge gnome" involved over 100 packages...), how can I track this down?
