With oss you need some perversion like ESD or arts. With arts you just define the dmix plugin as default. Voila. I started alsaplayer once for 6 times. It sounded strange, but all six streams were ok. -- Conclusions In a straight-up fight, the Empire squashes the Federation like a bug.
