I'm having problems as well. (See my "No sound on laptop" post.) I've got esound and netscape-flash installed (latest and greatest) and it looks like I've got all the right drivers installed but am getting nada for sound. XMMS (looking at the blur scope since I can't hear anything) is hiccupping along when I try to play an MP3.
