From the URL given above: "Which version of Simply are you running. MPPE has been in the MEPIS kernel for the last 2 or 3 months. Are you running the 2.4 or the 2.6 kernel?" Of course what you "really" want to do is make your own kernel, rather than use just a stock ebuild. But it's easier to set up something that you've seen in operation. Setting up pptp and mppe and all that on a Slackware box, when I'd never seen such a setup before, wasn't so easy.
