Su is not the same as sudo. In order to su, you need to be in the wheel group. (You can use vigr to edit that file). In order to use sudo, you need to be in the /etc/sudoers file. (Normally, you would use visudo to edit that file). -- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
