Thats it. =y means it will be built into the kernel (you could also use =m to build it as a loadable module). Now you just need to recompile and install the new kernel. If you haven't done that before, be sure to lookup the relevant documentation on Gentoo.org, google the archives, etc. Particularly scan archive or forum threads dealing with the benefits and problems of using "genkernel".
