On my system, the '/etc/init.d/checkfs' script does the 'vgchange -y a' activation. I didn't have to change/add anything. As long as you make sure to emerge 'lvm2' during your install (once in the chroot env), you should be good. -Hani -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
