After a good night's sleep I realised that this part didn't explicitly state that you ran a full re-emerge of at least the @system set (if not the entire @world). So, have you successfully rebuilt your full toolchain after the change to reflect the change? Do you have lib32 and lib64 paths in your /etc/ld.so.conf? If they are missing will env-update add them there? -- Arttu V.
