This is odd as you have created a bootable USB stick. Are you using EFI? If not, does your BIOS have options for booting from different devices, USB CD, USB HD, USB Zip, etc? You may need to try different alternatives, one system I have wants to boot USB sticks as Zip drives :-O -- Neil Bothwick why do kamikazee pilots wear helmets?
